These terms apply when you use Reno. They are meant to be read, so they are written plainly. Using Reno means you accept them.
What Reno is
Reno is a personal assistant. You talk to it in a messaging app, and it keeps track of things for you. It turns what you mention into records you can return to and, where you connect accounts, reads and acts on your behalf.
You must be at least 16 to use it.
Your account
You sign in with a phone number. Keep access to that number secure. Anyone who can receive your login codes can reach your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
One account is for one person. Do not share it.
Connected accounts and your own tools
Connecting an account grants Reno access to the data you approve, so it can act for you. You choose what to connect and can disconnect at any time.
Where Reno takes an action that other people can see, such as sending an email, posting a message, or commenting on an issue, it asks you to confirm that specific action first. Actions you confirm are your actions. You are responsible for what Reno sends on your behalf.
You may connect your own MCP servers. Those servers are operated by whoever runs them, not by us, and we make no promise about what they do with what they receive. Adding one enables nothing by itself: you turn on individual tools and decide whether each may make changes. Connect servers you trust.
What Reno tells you
Reno uses language models. It can be wrong, incomplete, or confidently mistaken, and it can misread something it retrieved. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.
Reno is not a professional adviser. Nothing it says is medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Where it reports health data from a device you connected, it is repeating what was recorded. It does not diagnose, and it is not a medical device. Absent data is not a measurement of zero. If you have a health concern, speak to a clinician.
Acceptable use
Do not use Reno to:
- break the law, or help anyone else do so
- access accounts or data you are not entitled to
- send spam, or harass, deceive or impersonate anyone
- probe, overload or interfere with the service or its infrastructure
- connect a server or tool designed to extract other users’ data or subvert the product’s safeguards
We may suspend accounts that do these things.
Availability
Reno depends on services it does not control, including model providers, Google, and whatever you have connected. Those can be slow, change, or stop working, and Reno will be affected when they are. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and features may change.
Reno is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law gives you and that cannot be excluded.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost or corrupted data arising from your use of Reno.
Ending it
You can stop using Reno whenever you like and ask us to delete your account and its contents. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken, or if we stop offering the service. In that case, you will be given reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, the date at the top changes and you will be told in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Reno after that means you accept the new terms.
